It was the fifth day of our last fishing trip of the season. Our tanks were full of the precious animals that we needed to finish our experiments.
And, at that moment, it looked like those fish would never make it back to the station.
Over the past several weeks, a slew of icebergs had floated in around the station, making docking a challenge. We'd been able to make it out for the trip, and crossed our fingers that the icebergs would blow out by the time we returned. Unfortunately, luck was not on our side.
